Frequently asked questions
Which Addix class should I start with?
For most people, MetCon is the best place to begin. It’s our flagship strength and conditioning program and forms the foundation of the Addix training system.
If you’re newer to training or prefer simpler movements with a conditioning focus, MetCon Lite is a great starting option. Our coaching team can guide you toward the class that best matches your experience and goals.
What’s the difference between MetCon and MetCon Lite?
MetCon combines strength, skill, and conditioning using barbells, dumbbells, and progressive programming across training blocks.
MetCon Lite focuses on conditioning and muscular endurance with lower complexity and lighter loads. It’s ideal for beginners, those prioritising fat loss, or members who want to build fitness without technical lifting.
Both follow structured programming — the main difference is complexity and loading.
Can I combine Strength Club or Speed Club with MetCon?
Yes — and they’re designed to complement each other.
Strength Club focuses on progressive overload, technique, and building muscle, while Speed Club develops aerobic capacity, pacing, and endurance. When combined with MetCon, they create a complete performance system covering strength, conditioning, speed, and durability.
Are your classes suitable for beginners?
Yes. Every Addix session is coached and scalable. Movements, loads, and intensity are adjusted to suit your ability while keeping you within the structure of the program.
You won’t be thrown into chaos — you’ll follow clear progressions with coaching support at every stage.
How are Addix classes structured differently from other gyms?
Addix classes aren’t random workouts. Each program runs within a planned training block with progression built in. That means:
Clear performance focus
Measurable progress
Coaching throughout the session
Purpose behind every movement
Our classes work together as one complete system — not isolated sessions without direction.
