Train With Purpose. Measure what matters.

Measured. Tested. Improved.
The Addix Performance Standards are our benchmark testing system — a structured, repeatable way to measure your progress across the full spectrum of athletic fitness.
Every few months, we test our members through a carefully designed battery of physical standards that cover all the key areas of performance:
- Strength (Trap Bar Deadlift, Bench Press, Pull-Ups)
- Power (Vertical Jump, Broad Jump)
- Speed (10m Sprint)
- Endurance (1 Mile Run, Assault Bike, Burpees)
- Work Capacity & Durability (Farmer Carry)

Know Your Level. See Your Progress.
Each test is measurable, repeatable, and built to show you where you stand — and what to improve next.
You’ll be scored across four levels:
- Baseline – starting point for anyone new to structured training
- Standard – solid all-round fitness, ready for anything
- Advanced – strong performance capacity and balance across all areas
- Elite – exceptional general fitness and athleticism
These standards are tracked visually using our Performance Spider Chart, showing your strengths and limiters at a glance.
What it tells you
Where your current strengths are (e.g., power vs endurance)
Where your limiters are (e.g., work capacity or strength balance)
How your training consistency is paying off
What to focus on in the next training phase
WHY IT MATTERS FOR EVERYDAY PEOPLE
You don’t need to be an athlete to train like one.
Our standards translate directly into real life:
- Strength helps you move better, lift safely, and protect your body.
- Power keeps you agile and injury-resistant.
- Endurance improves your energy, focus, and recovery.
- Speed and Work Capacity make everyday tasks easier — from carrying kids to climbing stairs.
Testing gives context and purpose to your training — it shows you what your body can actually do, not just how it looks.
We run Performance Testing Weeks at key points throughout the year as part of our structured training calendar.
Each test is coached, timed, and recorded under supervision to ensure accuracy and consistency.
After testing, members receive a personalised spider chart showing their results across all tests — highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and areas to focus on next training block.
Testing is for everyone — not a competition, but a checkpoint of progress.

THESE TESTS DON’T DEFINE YOU. THEY REFLECT YOU.
Frequently asked questions
What are the Addix Performance Standards and how are they different from normal gym workouts?
The Addix Performance Standards are a structured fitness testing system designed to measure real, usable athletic performance — not just appearance or effort.
Unlike traditional gyms that rely on random workouts, these standards track measurable progress across strength, power, speed, endurance, and work capacity. Every test is repeatable and scored against clear benchmarks, giving you objective data on where you stand and what to improve next.
Instead of “just working out,” you train with purpose — following a structured system built around long-term progression.
Do I need to be fit or experienced to take part in performance testing?
No. The Performance Standards are designed for everyday athletes of all levels, including beginners.
Everyone starts somewhere — which is why we have four levels:
Baseline
Standard
Advanced
Elite
If you’re new to structured training, the Baseline level simply establishes your starting point. Testing is not about competition or comparison — it’s about measuring your personal progress over time in a safe, coached environment.
You don’t need to be “fit enough” to start. Testing helps you become fitter.
Is performance testing safe?
Yes. All testing is supervised, coached, and programmed within our structured training calendar.
Each movement — whether it’s a trap bar deadlift, sprint, or endurance test — is coached for correct technique and appropriate scaling. We prioritise proper movement standards, load management, and individual ability to ensure testing is both safe and effective.
The goal isn’t to push reckless limits — it’s to measure controlled, well-trained performance.
How often do you run fitness testing weeks?
We run structured Performance Testing Weeks at key points throughout the year as part of our training blocks.
This allows members to:
Track measurable improvement
Identify strengths and weaknesses
Adjust training focus for the next phase
Because the tests are repeatable and consistent, you can clearly see how your strength, endurance, speed, and work capacity improve over time.
Progress becomes visible — not guessed.
What do the results actually tell me?
Your results are displayed in a personalised Performance Spider Chart, giving you a visual breakdown of your athletic profile.
Testing reveals:
Your strongest performance qualities (e.g. power vs endurance)
Your limiters (e.g. strength imbalance or work capacity gaps)
Whether your training consistency is paying off
What to prioritise in your next training block
It’s more than a score — it’s your fitness fingerprint.
For the everyday athlete, this means clarity, direction, and confidence in your training.
